From the south of England
Take the M74 to Glasgow, follow signs for M8, join A82 north west towards Dumbarton, continue north to Tarbet, from Tarbet to Crianlarich, west to Tyndrum, A85 to Oban.
From north west Scotland
A82 south via Fort William, join A828, join A85 south to Oban

Fort William to Corran ferry, A861 west to A884, south west to Lochaline, ferry from Lochaline to Fishnish on Mull
When on the Isle of Mull
From the ferry terminal at Craignure, take the A849 signposted for Salen, continuing for approximately 11 miles until you reach the village. (The route from Fishnish also takes you on to the A849 to Salen.) Take the left-hand turning in Salen signposted for Gruline. Continue along this road for approximately one mile and you will find Craigmore Cottage on the left-hand side of the road.
